I have a great shave with mine using the guard, but I can see what you are saying.
Never tried the hone or strop that comes with. They might be great?

I honed mine on my synthetics and stropped it on Lipshaw (bench) strops. Interesting on shaving in the honing/stropping position..
    Make sure it's tight!

Thank you, Sir! It's right at 9/8 overall, so an 8/8+ razor.

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
