pre-shave/post-shave: A mix of Castor oil (about 25%) and Olive oil. I think there may be a bit too much castor oil...otoh i also think it's too thin for my tastes, so I"m gonna try a bit of jojoba and/or mustard (mustard oil, I used to have used on my skin as a kid). I heated the oil and nicely massaged it into my skin, I then waited for about 2-3 minutes for the oil to absorb and then used a hot towel. It felt GREAT, and took me back to childhood when I used to have this done to me every week (it used to be done using either mustard oil, or a mixture by a company called "axe" (google 'axe oil'))...as a kid i'd wait for like 5 minutes then went in for a nice hot bath.
After shave, applied some more oil again. I loved the feeling, and it was instantly relieving. Then topped it off with some RMBC post-shave.
Razor: *P Fox&Norris - I can't believe My luck at finding these btw.
Soap: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars. This is evidently a very polarising soap - made by a small Quebecois operation. Something about the scents used often irritate people's skin (from what I've read). I thought i'd try it out because I love strong smells...so far, LOVED IT. I thought i'd get annoyed by it, but it wasn't actually that strong and it was exactly the kind of "wood and leather" type of smell i was looking for.
