I love those curvy Saitos, Mark! I'd love honing one of those-I've got my son who is now living in Osaka on the lookout for one.

And Sashimi-That Jeness Dragonslayer is maybe the most awesome razor I've ever seen!

Cheers Aaron, they are fun to hone. I was a bit apprehensive at first, you just need to use an exaggerated rolling X stroke.

    Thank you Aaron.
I felt the same, which is why I bought it.
All credits go to its maker though. His pictures are also a lot better than mine:

It's been a while since I've had the time to post a SOTD. The Torrey frameback is a true pleasure to shave with! I feel that I need to be on the lookout for more of them.

Henckels 78 1/2 extra hollow (La Grise Coticule finish)
Kanayama leather + softened linen (after fine tuning, I've found the linen to work extremely well, it's the old linen, not the ones sold in more recent years)
    Cella crema sapone, wonderful stuff
L'Occitane synthetic brush, super smooth brush, great as used for face lathering

A single pass ATG shave on a single day's growth. Shave was marvelous. I found when shaving daily a 1 pass ATG shave is all I need and gives a BBS result.

Sublime shave followed up by the alumn block, which sadly got dropped and shattered into pieces, woops.
