Today was an exceptional day.

After working in the HVAC field for 4 years (brutally physical work, which I loved), the wifey finally convinced me to rely on my science background (molecular genetics and microbiology), and leave my current job to restart in the medical profession.

I finally caved and agreed, and have been in school for the last few months.

I’m on the finishing end now, and there is no way I can do my HVAC job, and required hospital internship hours, at the same time.

So after some back-n-forth, my HVAC job finally released me last night.

Yessssssssssssssss!

So I now have two or three months to complete my class courses, and then get my two state certifications.

Then it’s a few months of internship...and then job applications.

So today was the last day at my HVAC job. I had to turn in my work phone, tablets, uniforms, and whatever else was employee-issued in the early morning.

So this afternoons shave was a special one.

It put me in the correct mental state after having said, “Good-Bye” to my manager and co-workers this early morning. (Great skin food, great scent).

It’s a new day in my life.

Great shave today.

Used an almost 200 year old Wade & Butcher, with one of my all-time favorite autumn/winter soap and scent.

Just blows me away how nice and sharp the Wade & Butcher I restored still is.

It’s a great day.
