Most of mine have already come out the first week we did American steel, but I do have something nice for the Fourth.
Me, I want to see Hawkeye's Watervilles.:)
Their nothing super special. I will say I look forward to ending the week with a bang, however :hmmm:
Excuse me gents, but out of an attitude of love and reconciliation, should we let our British friends in on this?:)
Hm... I've only got one American blade that is shave ready. I have another one in the works, but I'm pretty sure she's Sheffield steel (I've heard rumors that the early Torrey's with the whip on the tang were not American steel).
Do we have a regular brand that we are certain it's american steel, not just ground or marketed in US?
This will be fun! I am a big fan of Sheffield razors, and razors made by USA companies. I believe the USA razor companies are very underrated.

Thayers Original WH w/ aloe
Musgo Real asb
Knize 10 cologne
Finally a complete straight razor shave. I finally watched Lynn's dvd and felt confident enough to go more than one pass. I used the hot towel treatment on a two days growth after my shower and took the Scheonburg out of the drawer where it had been since I received it from Seth...the second pass was smoother (obviously) and I was able to across the grain with no problem. A milestone has been reached.

Mmmm, all those Torreys. What I really need to go is get my butt in gear and finish honing mine. Then again, I'll bet between you and Joe you could probably provide seven day sets or American razors to quite a few members.
Have you had your Little Guard out yet this week?
Not just Torrey's I have some Robeson's too. Although I think Joe has pretty close to a seven day run of Torrey's himself. Thinking about bringing the little guard out tonight or tomorrow. Been waiting for a slice from the DE from last week to heal up. That's what I get for not using my str8's .
Prep:Shower

Brush:No name vintage boar
Shave Soap: TGQ Cavendish Black
Razor: Clauss 6/8s

Typical shave, just GREAT!!
Joe, they're so pretty. Are you recycling pictures off your database? I think you should take some photos of your strops too; leather always looks good.
Yep, the pictures are recycled off my database most were taken by JrJoeD. I really don't have the time, patients or talent to take SOTD pics after a shave.
Want leather? Here are some recycled pics of the strops minus the Tony Miller Latigo/Hoese hide, also recycled from this thread started by Lynn: http://straightrazorpalace.com/strop...-you-like.html
Maybe I can get Jr. to take a group shot of the brushes some day, maybe at the meet.
