I've been meaning to say to a couple of SOTD members, how inspiring, and profestional their pics are. Maximilion, and Gssixgun {Glen}, you are the guys that motivated me to start joining in on the SOTD, and start taking pics of my shaves. I want to say thank you, to both of you. This is so much fun I can't put it into words. Glen I personally don't care if you use the same Palidon 306 for every shave, after all you are testing it, right; your pics are still just as awesome. Not to mention I only use my favorite razor all the time, my Bergischer Lowe. You guys are inspirational, creatively motivating. Thank you both. :bow

I've said it before. This is not a contest. Everyone is treated equal. It doesn't matter what age, race, believes, camera, talents or razors you own or use. In the end it's all about having fun, sharing and enjoying what we love the most. But most important being able to express yourself and feel at home at the same time.
darn, you must be getting tons of alerts then :)

Last night's shave may have been the very best yet. I'd had some trouble working with the Wapi earlier - I felt that I wasn't able to get a smooth feeling from the edge and because the grind is stiff, it was hard to get some of the tell tale feedback...clearly my technique, not the razor. But recently I've been working on some major stropping improvement and after doing a double duty strop with quicker strokes the razor went through the usual three passes and was smooth as silk. No weepers/burns/cuts...my face has that "covered in liquid gold" feeling. Fanastic!
