In reality, I'm not much of a boar fan. I keep giving well regarded Boar brushes a chance, just to see. This one is the first one among them that will find it's way into my rotation. IMHO, it outperforms my former Omega brushes hands down.Quote:

Shave went very well, except 2 small nicks, nothing majors, but I had stropped my razor about 100+ strokes til my arm was tired, and that gave the razor a crazy sharp edge/smooth, didn't realize how sharp. Did get a BBS as usual though. Fool's pass, Coup De Matre, etc...

Semi-Speick Saturday (I always forget on Fridays) straight shaving morning. (Suffern' Succotash, how alliterative can I be?) Wonderful lather with the Speick and two good passes with the W&B, a heavy blade which demands respect and attention. It feels much different compared with the hollow ground razors that I typically use on the weekends, but that's not a bad thing. Great finish with the Musgo and the Acqua di Selva. Now for breakfast, coffee and a cigar. I love the weekends.
