Wonderful Shave this morning! (Thanks Ben) This razor has made the rounds but I think it has found a home here with me! Super keen edge and smooth shave. It will definitely be in the top drawer of my rotation. Great shaves shown by all this morning Gentlemen!

Default A date with two lovely blades

Well, It's been a long time since my last SOTD, and a long time since my last shave, so I come back in style:

Razor(s): a 6/8 Thiers-Issard worked back for the hard working WTG, and my beloved 6/8 World Master 194 for the XTG and ATG
Brush: A lovely 24mm from SRD, the Stephen's Wood Working #6
Soap: Taylor of Old Bond Street's Sandalwood
Cream: The Body Shop's Maca Root cream
Strop: 50/60 on an SRD Poly-Web and Bridle for each razor prior to the shave... Then 20/30 on the Wool Felt and Premium I modular paddle during and after the shave

Results?: BBS And thoroughly relaxed. About. Damn. Time... I felt so unkempt

Really like seeing someone besides myself using Skin Bracer. Doesn't seem to get much chatter. I have a fondness for it....reminds so much of my father. Very nostalgic scent for me. Thanks for posting.

My Dad wore it as well and, it's a very nostalgic scent that is reminiscent of a lot of men in the 50's that's for sure.

Yeah, those Joseph Allen's are some really nice shavers. I'm as happy with mine as you are with yours.

Interesting... I just found one... I believe it's a 5/8... Once my buffers show up, she'll be heading out the door (too small for my meaty hands)
