Default SOTD Monday, June 7, 2010

    Razor: Kinfolks Blue Steel Special
    Brush: AOS Pure Badger
    S/S: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    S/C: Proraso
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Aftershave: Proraso

As Stroker said, "Menthol Monday." You gentlemen may not have heard, but it gets quite hot and humid in Houston, Texas in the summertime, as well as the spring, fall and winter. Any cooling helps. Have a great day and thanks to all of you for sharing your daily shaves.

Excellent shave kit selection Sir, enjoy your posts very much! I was born and raised in the St. Louis, Missouri area and I can relate to the Heat and Humidity that you are having in Houston! (been watching some Texas Rangers games last couple of days) The proraso should do the trick and keep thing "cool"!

Thanks, Bruce. My wife was out of town for a week or so visiting her parents and she had the camera with her. Just got it back for this week.

I think you'll like tomorrow's setup. I found a glass bottle of Pinaud Clubman that I broke the seal on for use tomorrow. Not sure when it was made but I haven't seen the glass bottles in any stores around here. It looks like the modern bottle but is 8 oz instead of the 6 or 12 oz plastic versions that are available now.

been a while since I last posted in SOTD - so I figure I should renew my membership

Razor: DC halsted 7/8 near wedge - Buddel tribute scales by undream (Brad) | caswell Massey almond shave soap (please let me get through this faster...) | nivea AS | TM 2.5 latigo and SRD linen

BBS in two passes - was one of my nicest and smoothest shaves.

    oh yes and the goods....
