Result: I fully intended to shave yesterday...but I spent the day traveling and it was so late when I got home that I decided to trade a fast shave at night for a relaxing shave in the morning. The “Napoleon” one of my favorite blades as it has a slant grind that really mows down the whiskers. The scent of the SRD Lime was refreshing. It is so good to be back home with my razors and in my own shave den. Thanks for the amazing SOTD's this week gentlemen, you make those tough days easier.
Have a great Shave, you've earned it!

Back from the big North Woods...
Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil
ARKO Limon Shave Cream
New Forest #2211 Finest Silvertip
Manaslu "55" 13/16ths
SRD Premium I Strop .. 30 Linen/50 Leather
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Nivea AS Balm
Lucky Tiger Aspen AS
I had five full days growth to dispense with, so the killer Manaslu got the call for duty... Three easy passes later and it was history!
On the way home from camp yesterday, I stopped in the Turkish grocery to pick up a supply of yogurt.. There is nothing like some of the ethnic foods in the turkish market. While waiting to be checked out, my eye caught some shaving supplies.. tubes of ARKO and Dalan, and maybe more. Anyway, I grabbed this Limon flavor, I assume a Lemon/Lime mix. Not the ultimate cream, but certainly pleasant enough, and for $1.95, I couldn't go wrong!
I feel human again!

Razor: C-Mon HF
Soap: Institut Karite
AS: Old Spice
Prep: Hot shower--followed by Robeson beard prep method…
Brush: Omega Gold “Best Silvertip”
SC: Palmolive for Men “Classic”
Razor: Merkur 34c w/ Gillette 7 O’Clock blade
Astringent: Thayer’s Original Witch Hazel w/ Aloe Vera
ASB: Nivea for Men “Sensitive”
AS: Booster “Polar Ice”
Result: Great, quick shave…
I overslept for an event this morning and opted for face lathering with the Palmolive shaving cream, Omega brush and my trusty Merkur HD double edge. Oh boy! Although I was in a hurry, the resulting shave was quite enjoyable. As close as you can get to BBS without using a straight.

Ahhhhh a nice relaxing shave all to myself this morning...:D
So as the clouds have rolled in, and the the temperature dropped quickly this weekend, I spent most of the week on the big tractor getting the road in shape before the rain this week froze and turned to snow...
Switching from the Box Scraper to the Snowblower setting all the engine heaters and float chargers... Yes this is what living really out in the boonies is all about :deal: Tonight I have to double check all the freeze outlets and make sure all the heat lamps and heat tape turn on at 35 degrees :rofl2: I so love getting ready for winter in the country...
So this morning I picked out the King Pelican Kamisori style #14 razor, I had re-honed this one some time back using my Nakayama and really enjoyed my last shave with it.. I stropped it up 25/50 on the matching King Pelican strop..
I have been trying shaving before the morning shower again lately, using just steamed towels for prep...
The lather was Domenico Caraceni whipped up with a re-knotted Old-Spice brush 24 mm Silvertip..
I did one WTG pass, re-lathered and did a Multi-directional pass followed by a super light clear water touch up pass and done...
After a long hot shower I used Davidoff's Cool Water collection throughout from the Shower Gel, to the Aftershave, then the Balm, and followed finally with the EDT
The shave was FANTASTIC but the attention from the wife since I wasn't wearing, her words "Grandpa scent" was even better :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:
This razor has always been one of my favorites but with the new Nakayama edge it is very hard to beat....
Have a great Weekend guys

I think I need my warmers if I stroll trough Glauchau.
A little bit jetlag. But I have your beautiful posts and pictures
I told to my wife we should rather fly back to FL... now!
Hi Tom. Its 12 midnight and 36F. Ugh! not looking forward to winter.
Just preparing my material - 42 GB photographies.
But I often used multi-shot for dynamic themes.
During the transfer I clean my camera and lenses.
Looking at the pictures from FL- it looks like a little bit warmer!!!:rofl2:
BTW:
What about "global warming"?
I never feel something about here!
