I hadn't used my SRD Opus X in quite a while. It whipped up into a generous, fragrant lather and an outstanding shave.
Have a great day and for those SRP members who celebrate it, an enjoyable Thanksgiving.
Thank you Robert! Your SOTD is great, as allways :tu. I really enjoy his strops, a lot. I very rarely uses any of my other strops nowadays and I only "need" to get a finnishing strop from him and then I´m set for life, lol. I´ve been very corious on Da Bomb for a long while now, thanks to you :). Is it that good?

First and foremost, for those who celebrate it: HAPPY THANKSGIVING! The razor was my second test shave off my new Ozuku stone. Another smooth edge (though I'm convinced this Filarmonica could be sharper - perhaps it should go back to the lower grits). While I didn't do a "themed" SOTD, this shave couldn't be much more luxurious between the top shelf razor, the super soft badger brush, the incredible lather, and the divine Windsor as a finisher...
Bring on the turkey!
PREP: Hot shower and hot water on the face
RAZOR: John Barber ( around 1820 )
BRUSH: "Mac Ness"
SHAVING CREAM: "Taylor of old bond street" almond
RESULTS : relaxing moment, and smooth skin...

Great bade :tu and nice theme shot for the day. Don't stuff yourself too much:rofl2:
Thank you Tom :bow
Great one Monroe :tu and have a feast (you deserve it)
Thank you Mikael...You are too kind. Da Bomb is fantastic:tu. Al has a rewards program thingy going (I think). Check it out. It is a fabulous creme formulated by a PhD chemist...If anyone knows cremes, it's Al. few others do as deeply as he does. He has great ingredients in his stuff (even though he doesn't list them...which doesn't matter). It is worth the $ (I don't remember what he charges either...$20 or so). And an 8oz tub goes a very very long way. it will probably outlast you. I highly recommend it.
