Thanks buddy. I hope you had a great birthday bash.
Thanks Rene
Thank you sir.
That's a beautiful C-Mon
Haaaa...That is too funny Bruce, LOL. Very creative though.
Great to see you back Phil. Glad you healed up quick (I hope 100%). Nice blade and great rescale.
Thanks Robert. A quick recovery.....boy I wish, seemed like forever and sadly I have lost a lot of strength and a good bit of mobility in my fingers(mostly my index) but nothing I can't deal with. I got the blade from Bob in November '09 and it's been an awesome shaver. More pics can be seen here... http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ghost-g10.html
Great pics everybody, keep it up. :tu

I must have good water here, I get such a good lather from the MWF, its good stuff. I didnt even put on any A/S or balm tonight, just wanted to feel the naked result of the MWF shave. One hour later my face feels great.
This may be the last time you guys see this razor in its current form. It was my first succesful restoration, my first set of scales and I think it was also the first shave ready razor I ever used. However its time for a touch up, and I'm thinking I'll pull it apart, give it a proper restore and a better set of scales. Pretty busy at the moment though so it might be out of service for a little while.

DFS with a killer Lather. The Aqua Velva was superb. The Haslinger balm leaves a little to be desired. But, overall my straight shaving skills are slowly improving. Thanks to everyone for sharing their SOTD, it's the first section I read everyday on the forum. Have a great day gentlemen.
Mr. Stubbles showed up on my doorstep this morning. I guess I'll let him hang out for a day or two...
Oouuchh Phil. It's amazing what a couple of months can do to one's recovery. But, I am certain you will regain that mobility back in no time (hopefully)...after all, you picked up the Allman and shaved with it. No easy task with little mobility.
I do wish you a speedy recovery
That is a beautiful Boker Mikko. Congrats
Nice post-party shave. Question is: Do you remember what happened at the party, LOL?
Grant,
MWF is awesome in every regard...Best part is that since it has a neutral scent, it goes very well with any creme out there.
That's a gorgeous Invicta...and a very nice "first" restore, but honestly, I agree with you. She needs a better set of clothing to shine to her fullest.
Oh My...That's one beautiful frameback Mikael. Don't think I've seen a Dorko like this in frameback.
Nice shave Blueman
Excellent David
That's going to be me tomorrow, LOL.
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 26mm Saville Row 3326 Silvertip Badger Razor: 6/8" C.V. Heljestrand #32, 1/2 Hollow, French Point, Butterscotch Micarta (Restored by Max) Strop: 5/10 (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather) Überlather: Trumper's "Violet" Shave Creme + Trumper's "Rose" Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash/EdC: Alt Innsbruck Results: And today is The Heljestrand #32's turn to shine...The last of the line up of seven Maxterpieces :bow. My wife especially loves this beauty Max. The Trumper's Violet SC + Rose SS combination gave rise to an explosion of wonderfully slick and thick lather...This thing was not drying at all. Wonderful, all the way to its core. BBS, smooth and extremely satisfying...Now, I am ready to meet up the Monsters (i.e., nephews and niece) and ruffle their feathers a bit

Have an EXCELLENT Saturday brothers:tu. Hope yours is drier than ours.
Robert,
your question was:
"Do you remember what happened at the party, LOL?"
my answer is:
I don't hit my mother in law with my shovel.
nubskillz,
many thanks and...
congrats from Germany!

Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Omega Scarlatti
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
A/S: Taylor #74 Original
I received the Wilkinson Sticky from Diggity (Nathan) yesterday afternoon and decided to take it for a spin. I had been looking for a Sticky for a long time and it did not disappoint. The sticky is a very gentle and smooth shaver... paired with the Super Iridium, it delivered an outstanding shave. A splash of TOBS 74 Original and I am ready for the day.
I recieved my razors back form Max. 2 were a rescale and 1 was a blade clean up. I chose to hone them myself.:gaah::banghead: Ahh the pleasure of shaving something you thought was honed. LOL! Back to the hone with her. IXL in Abalone

Phil,
Great choice of hardware/Software. I could almost "feel" this shave myself.
Rene,
Excellent razor buddy. Don;t worry...these honing escapades are a learning experience. The second round WILL be better and of not quite there, keep going until you get there. Trust me on this...Coming from someone who's been there (and is still there most times), it is a fantastic feeling when it comes together.
Fantastic setup Bruce. I love this DE. Pure class
Eccellente il mio amico
Fanta-bu-lous Mark. Congrats on the new acquisition and a fantastic shave. Isn't this a fun sport? We should lobby to enter shaving as an Olympic event, LOL
José,
Mucho fabuloso. I dig this shot maestro. Very nice
Thanks guys
Thanks Rene...I never said it was going to end, LOL. It always begins and then evolves, but NEVER ends. If it ended, I would have wasted a good amount of $$ for this restore...besides, Max would be disappointed, LOL
Hehehe...That's a lot of Jerky's to sell...Wait 'til Max comes out with his custom blades!!! But, then again, you have hundreds on this forum to advertise to (come to think of it...I think that would go against the rules).
BTW: Welcome to SOTD (and SRP).
Great shave Monroe,
We had missed you
PS: Are you guys out of the frozen tundra yet or still in purgatory?
