Have an EXTRAORDINARY Wednesday gentlemen :tu.
I started my "hump day" out right. Fluffed up some Williams Uber for 3 minutes and ran this old Wade and Butcher Rattler. In spite of my affinity for stiffer razors, I keep this baby in line and have for 4 years. An extremely audible razor, it gets super silent on the clean up pass! AWESOME!
Great posts today and may you have a very Happy Birthday, Amund!:beer1:

I just received the Gillette and wanted to give it a try. I used a vintage Gillette Blue Blade and after lathering with the Cella started the shave. I did not like the blade at all and it was sorta irritating me. I decided to switch to the Monkhouse which gave me a great shave.
I propped the Monkhouse on my Great Grandfathers cigarette box. I've had it a long time and I think it made a good photo prop.
Enjoy the evening.

I have the short pleasure of handling John's recent beauty, and paired her up with KD Creations Secret Scent shave cream and AS balm.
I don't know what John calls her, but Snake Eyes was the first thing that came to my mind.

Very nice, two passes plus a partial neck ATG, no irritation, smooth feeling afterwards. The SMN balm matches the English Fern and Arlington scents well. :)
A bit grey and cloudy weather today. Perfect for indoor activities. I'm thinking maybe do some honing...

First outing with the Bismark.
I really like the bigger blade and fuller grind really makes the blade more flexible.
Now I have the two straights I can alternate and give each their 48 hour rest!
Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Razor: Buddel 7/8 French Point in Suminagashi and Camel Bone Strop: Kanayama Soap/Cream: StraightRazorDesigns Bulgarian Rose Otto After shave Balm: CarrieM After Shave Milk EdT: Acqua di Parma Profumo Results: Another amazing shave! The Chubby continues to impress me. I've complained a number of times about my inability to get this soap to lather; you won't hear those complaints again. I was treated to mounds and mounds of rich creamy rose scented heaven today. And the Buddel relished in this field of lather! When the work was done, I was left with a wonderful, smooth face. The AdP topped it off with a wonderful blend of citrus and floral accords. Simply Divine!

Brush: Comoy Badger
Soap: Proraso
Razor: Bengall 11/16 "Sawn-off"

This razor is a pleasure to shave with. Although the blade has been shortened it is really comfortable to shave with, and its edge delivered a fantastic BBS with 3 passes.

Good afternoon friends
We just preparing parts of our luggage for our trip to Israel.
Now there must be some time for a smooth shave:

brush: Muehle
razor: Castagnon
AS: Brut

There is some time left.
Sunday to Berlin
Monday to Tel Aviv
Thanks, yes we'll enjoy this trip because we meet some good friends (e.g. manah)
Danke Max, thanks Max!
I think we are well prepared, all our hotels have WLAN (for free).
I prepared already some pictures with the equipment I'll take with me. Each day I'll send a picture of the day with the equipment combined with landscape.
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 26mm Saville Row 3326 Silvertip Badger Razor: 13/16" Dubl Duck "SatinEdge", Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point (soon to be Maximized) Strop: 40/45 laps (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather) Überlather: L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Creme + L'Occitane "Cade" Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Spanish Blue AS Cologne: Floïd Spanish Blue EdC Results: This Duck is one of my best shavers:nj. She is soon destined to be Maximized. I love the edge on this beauty...She's the best of two worlds: extra smooth on the skin, but extra hard on whiskers. And of course, the Cade combo provided for a lubricating lather. Once the ratio of soap:water:air on this soap is patiently dialed in correctly, the resultant lather is truly to be savored:y. Thick and ultra moist. Additionally, the Saville Row made the "lathering" process enjoyable and the its application a luxurious experience. All in all, a well rounded and terrific shave http://www.foroafeitado.com/foro/ima...s/thumbsup.gif.
