Well I was all dressed and ready to go to the office until I saw your SOTD Bill...now I have to change shirts because I have drool all over it! Nice customs you have on display this week!
And there it is, the razor that made me try CA finish and got me hooked. I love the scales on this razor Grant and the "sawn-off" job is top notch
Cheers!

Rene, I am glad you liked it. I think they shave very nicely. Dylan did a wonderful job honing them.
Yesterday was a travel day with my wife and youngin. I am used to traveling alone or with my partner. Traveling with your wife and daughter is a different animal and upon arrival in Fort Lauderdale, I was exhausted. I continue to be amazed at what women take with them on travel. Like most men, I have a small leather bag with stuff for personal hygiene, shave gear, aftershave, cologne...whatever. The amount of stuff that my wife and daughter "need" to take with them on a short trip astounds me.
I was rewarded last night with a nice dinner at one of my favorite places with five of six of my favorite women: Mom, wife, 2 daughters and my niece. The bad part is those girls draw attention by too many young men. Good part is I can shoo them away with just a short glare.
Enjoy your day!!!!“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

Bill/Rene
I don't like to have a pistol on my person on a normal day, let alone on vacation. They are just a big pain in the ass.
Rene,
You are welcome, and I am glad you enjoyed the razors.
Saw Grass is a huge mall. Any good stores to visit?“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

After a recent honing which included going back all the way to resetting the bevel, this thing is shaving better than it has in a long time. It occurred to me while shaving that this is the only shave ready razor I have ever bought. Everything else in my collection has been ebay specials and antique store finds restored by yours truly. The Barber's Pet came from Oz (Onimaru55) way back in my early shaving career.
I'm very happy to have a great edge back on it. 3 passes, BBS Baby!!!
