This is the 2nd shave with this razor since I honed it and it was smoother than the 1st.
End result was very clean.

Would have been an uberclose shave if I hadn't missed a little on a spot. This razor's so good and nice I used to two times in a row, that's rare for me and she wiped two days stubble away like it was nothing (chunky 90 grams wedge doesn't stop easy) :D
Scared yet, kids? This razor could make you scream for mama, if in the wrong hands, it's :medvl: and :tameshigiri: at the same time :D

Friday
Day off work to take Bailey in for ‘Special Super Power Treatment’, which is a far nicer term than Chemotherapy. He dressed in his Spiderman outfit and pretended to ‘web’ everyone he saw. He was very ‘up’ which was good, it’s so nice to see him happy. He teaches me to ‘live in the moment’.
A nice shave today; I WAS going to cease using Proraso pre-shave, as I ran out the other day but couldn't resist buying some yesterday; glad I did. I made the La Toja a little watery, but it still worked out OK. I needed to be careful today in the neck area, as I cut myself the other day, one of those cuts where you say “Oh shit!” Not a nick, a CUT! I was trying to go W to E on the neck, with the Burrell, which is a recipe for disaster. I don't think I'm ever going to get completely BBS on the neck and on the right angle of my chin below the ear with just a Straight.
Decided on a military theme as I’ve been chatting with havachat45 about our past lives in the Army, and I’ve been missing those days a bit...as I always will...

Have a great Friday!
I've said this before, not about this razor; I'm sure (or maybe it was?) but THAT (Sir) is a HEEL!
I do like a nice heel on a razor. Some talk of shaving around Van Dyke thingies and such with the toe, but I, on the other hand, cannot fathom that idea; the heel, for me, is the most usable part of the razor; I hardly use the toe at all....
If the toe were more like this 6/8 or this Vintage Ivory John Hall Straight Razor, Manchester that'd be an almost perfect shape, I say....
