I took it nice and easy this morning and had a wonderful relaxing shave.

Wester Bro's WhiteEagle, with a quick refresh on a SRD pressed felt with CrOx Strop
    Rooney Silvertip
    RazoRock Caprician Lemon
RazoRock Alum, and Dominican Bay Rum

Then it was off to the tire shop to fix a wheel that is making a sound that reminds me of a bell 212 passing over head, a quick hair cut, then the grocery store to procure the necessities to craft an appetizer for tonight's work x-mass party.

    Great shaves this week!

Default TGIS - Another Great Saturday!!

    .

Locale: The Palace of Melting Snow - Colorado
Music: Every Christmas Song Ever Written!!! SWMBO is on a roll today men! I don't know if I can take another 2 weeks of this or not!!! ROFL
Prep: Hot Shower / Axe Hair and Body / Hot Towel Soak / Lather Towel Soak
Razor: 5/8 Bockla 26 Solingen - another Ebay restore, this old girl has a bevel set by my friend Roy that was just fantastic.
Hones: The Bockla didn't need honing, but I gave it 5 laps on each side of a American Hone Co. Winner Combo hone with water, followed by 20 on .5 diamond followed by 40 on .5 CrOx then finished the polish with 75 on the Bridle Leather.
Brush: WillN 24mm Silvertip in American Ash / Lather Bowl #1 - this combination is my favorite for producing prodigious amounts of thick, rich lather
Uber: TOBS Eton College + Sir Irisch Moos = As you can see by what was left AFTER my shave, this combination makes an amazing amount of thick, moist, rich, pleasently scented lather. The complete combination of brush, bowl and creams makes this an amazing Uber rich lather maker.
Post: cool Water Splash / Alum / Lucky Tiger splash
AS: Lloyd's After Shave Balm - rub on stick that leaves a nice thick layer of balm that you then lightly rub in. It leaves my face moisturized and smooth. I apply it again after an hour when possible just to keep the face feeling soft and moisturized.
Edc: Avon Signature - A very good afternoon scent that leads into night very well. Pleasant and lingering, but not too strong early like some.
Result: Because I have so many razors, this one has been neglected for some time now. I had completely forgotten how good this baby shaves. After refreshing her on the paddles and strop, she certainly did not disappoint! A full 3 pass shave that required no other razor, touch-ups or even gave the familiar sting when the alum is applied. It was so smooth I was able to do a better job at the AGT pass that suprised me. No tug or pull on this one! I must pull it out more often. It is as pretty as it is deadly. Reminds me of my wife!! LOL

Why thank you. Im honored. I just saw a Stainless on B&B but with black scales. Looked cool. PITA to hone. If i cant dial it in it may end up with Max honing it. Regular C-mon are easier.
