I hope I haven't forgotten how to shave :roflmao.
I promise to come to SOTD with a nice shave...Tomorrow or most likely Saturday Christmas Shave with a very very special blade (I have 3 new ones to showcase in the coming week)

Thank you bro...This one is really going to be very special (in every way)
Haaaaa...Good one Monroe. But, I am not much into diamonds or gold. I like simplicity and elegance in products, including razors. Also, I don't have access or membership privileges at Fort Knox. I was ousted after your Maxtom came to be created but we never got to witness ";"...So, I think they decided to extend those privileges to you:rofl2:.
Robert,
Its good to see you back.
As for the "Mysterious Maxtom"...Don't worry. It will make its grand premier on Christmas Day--or shortly thereafter.

Brush: Vie-Long Horse
Soap/Creme: Cella
Razor: Yuma
Blade: Astra SP
Pre: canned goo
Post: Witch Hazel
Hair Groom: Gables creme-oil
Result: I used canned goo massaged into my beard as prep. I had heard that it made a good prep, and it seemed serviceable, but did not blow me away. The Yuma razor, really did shave well, especially for such a cheap razor. It greatly exceeded my expectations.

Friday
An (almost) all Proraso shave this morning; I’ll have to get some of the Proraso After Shave lotion so I can TRULY have an all Proraso shave.
I haven’t used the Proraso cream for a while. I forgot how it really lets you know it’s sitting on your face as you strop. BTW, do you guys swirl the brush in the tub or scoop some out? This tub is firmer in consistency than my last tub; the last tub was almost a cream; and I’d scoop a bit out into the bowl. This tub is much firmer as the last one, but it isn’t as firm as a soap.
The shave with the Burrell Top Flight was excellent. The pin at the heel end is a little loose, I need to work out how to tighten it (I’m not very good at ‘that’ sort of stuff).
Razor: Burrell Top Flight Pre Shave: Proraso Cream: Proraso ASB: Proraso After Shave: Dominica Bay Rum
