Sun February 5th - Sat February 11th
Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
Razor: Wade & Butcher 'Celebrated Fine India Steel'
Brush: C2 - 2 band
Soap: Irisch Moos
Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
AS: Booster Mosswood
I had just honed up this W&B today so I took it for a full test shave. Needless to say it was extremely smooth and mowed away several days of beard growth like a walk in the park. I'm usually not a big fan of heavier grinds but when I'm sporting a serious beard those heavy grind razors do perform flawless. The Irisch Moos produces tons of slick tallow lather and the scent is extremely refreshing. One of my favorite soaps. I usually will produce lather straight from the stick with my brush and continue lathering up on my face. Works extremely well with the C2 brush which has a nice stiff backbone to it. Really nice combo with Booster's Mosswood which unfortunately doesn't linger very long but the first few minutes deliver an awesome refreshing splash. I definitely enjoyed my SOTD.
Gents. A superb new week and may the best win the Super Bowl 2012.

Its been raining for 2 weeks here, but today the sun finally came out and gave us a hot Aussie summer day.
The Proraso, Bigelow combo is a favorite at the end of a hot day for me, and the W&B was a great choice to take on the 4 day growth.
2 and a half passes and I'm smooth as a catfish's belly.
Looking forward to another SOTD week, thanks in advance for all the great posts and pics

Shave and a haircut today. Both dome and face were shorn to 5 year old smoothness in two easy passes. Van Halen (not Van Hagar) on tunes this afternoon. Now to fire up the grill and crack a few warm up beers before the game.
