Last night I felt like giving my Welsh Hone a try and see if there might be a noticeable difference in the shave stepping up from my Norton 8k. I have a little less irritation than usual but as I am only working on my neck during the cold months I am marking that up to just getting better at it. I did notice it cut with a little less pull today so it may have needed a touch up as is.
Many thanks to all from the curmudgeon of the netways! The shaves and photos are great! You have given me ideas and seriously stoked my RAD!Saturday

Soap: Williams

The old Top Flight was certainly worth the time taken to clean and hone it! A shave both close and pleasant.

Prep: Lukewarm Shower, Clearly Natural Aloe Vera
Razor: T. Noonan and Sons Arabic
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Cella
AS: Thayer's Lavendar Witch Hazel
Finish: G'eau Pour Hommes
This is one of my second string razors. I really like this razor. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, the edge never seems to get better than "almost there." Today's shave was certainly no exception, not very close at all.
