Works perfectly my friend! I really like it. It is a very pleasant AS, with delicate, unique aroma.

Took this for a 20 lap tune up on the Naniwa 12k and wow! The chin whiskers melted away with ease. The weather is supposed to be in the mid 40's today, a veritable heat wave as last week was single digits here...
Off to work feeling like a king!

Notes:
Just yesterday I read this thread: http://straightrazorpalace.com/shavi...ml#post1072720 and watched Lynn's video: http://straightrazorpalace.com/video...ing-video.html.
I kept that in mind as I went on the leather stropping the Filarmonica.
The result was like the old and new ‘master’ and the other members told; a super sharp edge and a super smooth shave :-)

Hot Shower, Wm. Elliot and Co, Semogue 1305, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Thayer's Lavendar Witch Hazel, Paul Sebastian Knock Off
Prep - None
Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Brush - Simpsons LE QEII Jubilee Manchurian, that's a mouthful
Razor - Hess 44 Stainless
Soap - Tabac puck
Post - Alum block followed by Thayers witch hazel
Excellent smooth and close cold water face lathered shave. The Hess 44 was like new but I tuned the edge up on a Zulu Grey and I can say they do shave as well as their reputation. The Tabac did it's job well delivering lots of slick lather and it is another soap that I like the scent of better than either Cella or Vitos Red. Just starting to get used to the new Manchurian badger hair brush but so far it has performed very, very well. So well in fact that I would say it edges out my SOC 2 band badger for top spot. Have a fine day and shave.
