Kent 50/50 brush
Olivia's Myhrr shave cream
Bobbo's strop (first try)
Thiers-Issard 7/8 Sheffield Red Stamina
TAGMSC aftershave balm
Pretty decent shave. I'm still learning the whole shave cream thing. I really need some more practise on making a good lather. The Olivia cream is very good. It smells heavenly and I REALLY want a cologne that is scented like it. The shave wasn't as good as with the TGQ cream so far. But that might be because I need some more practise in lathering the stuff.
I DO want some similar scented cologne however. And I I can't get any I'll make it myself!!

The Rauh (little known, old Solingen brand) went through the Norton 4K, Belgian natural, escher, and CrO2. This steel felt extremely smooth on the face: 9+ / 10 :y
Back to Little Cutie, to complement the pretty MOP inlay on the razor scale. Very aesthetically appealing tools with top functionality! Nothing like using a quality super silvertip ivory-handled brush - can't believe I let it rest so long with my vintage escapades...

Amazing shave. Learned a few things:
The right amount of cream makes it a lot better.
The supersilvertip is AMAZING. I didn't know a brush could feel that nice.
A strop needs a certain breaking in period. This was the second time I'd used Outram's strop and it's a lot better now. I really like it.

I'm an idiot :gth I was wondering why there was so much pulling with the razors I was honing for the giveaway and I just realized the problem. I'd always strop them the night before... So this morning I stropped just before shaving, and ofcourse they both shaved comfortably, without any issues. Now all I have to do is hone one more piece and they can go to Lynn :y

This cream is hands down the best I've tried. Outstanding!
Today I tried going against the grain above my lip for the first time. Just a little scary. I came away with a bit of burn, but I'll try to practice this a couple times a week. Does anyone else have problems with this pass?

-
I used to do two passes on my upper lip, the first with the grain then a second against the grain, but discovered that I got the same level of closeness by doing two sideways passes in opposite directions, from the side in then from the center out. The same technique on my chin finally solved that area as well.
-
I found sideways passes on the chin to be essential but the upper lip ones got a bit dangerous (a few nicks convinced me not to go that way any more lol).

Great shave.
This is one I've tried to like because I love their knives so much, but it's always been kind of a "meh" razor for me. I decided to take it back to hones and work on it again. Put it on the 8k and 15k Shaptons and decided to give it a test shave without any paddling. Got a great shave, and I gave it 5 light laps on the chrome oxide paddle before I put it up so I may try it again in a few days and see if that helped or hurt (in the past this razor has been a Cr3O2 holdout).

Axel's bay rum with peppermint.
Very nice. The TAGMSC soap makes the shaving process a bit rough but the results never lie. It's always a great shave for me with that stuff. I hadn't used it for a while because I'd gotten some other creams and soaps. But I used it today just to show it I hadn't forgotten is. And that worked out great.

2 days growth.
2 Pots of hot water (boiler has gone kaput..)
Hot rinse
Proraso pre/post cream
Almond conditioner
Trumpers Limes shaving cream
Edwin Jagger Best Badger brush
Lewis 5/8 roundpoint
Cold rinse
Witch Hazel & Lemon EO splash (I need more witch hazel to make some different splashes now, it just feels so good on the skin, and to the nose)
Proraso aftershave balm
Had little work to do today so I really took my time and had a fantastic shave. They are getting better I think in part to growing confidence with these sharp razors from Jason (Toxic). I even took a swipe cross grain under the chin and didn't swim out of the bathroom in my own blood.
BBS is almost an understatement, and didn't need to do any cleaning up with the Quattro, another first :D
I just got hold of the Proraso aftershave balm and really like it. The lack of alcohol in it was a nice bonus, and is easily absorbed with good soothing / nourishing properties.
Blinding shave!

I wasn't careful and sliced my chin. Rushed through the photography, so I promise better work next time. The soap bowl should have been on the other side. Better luck next time.

-
I like it. Ironically, I've had it for about 6-7 years but only started using it when I went straight.
-
I also have mine PR PH 6-7 years... don't use it much, obviously
And now for SOTD:
1850 or so heavy 6/8 wedge. Almost broke my back getting rid of the microchips and honing it. Good shave but razor not as sharp and smooth as I like: scored 9/10. I believe I can improve it, as I like its lines too much to give up at just 9/10.
Need to work the coticule, Escher again and maybe add the CrO2 that I skipped... CrO2 has raised the bar so much! I got the tip that it's not so good on old English wedges so I decided to skip it
