Default OMG what am I doing here ?

I can't believe I read 2 whole threads and posted on another about DEs. I see absolutely nothing wrong with them mind you, I have just never had the interest to use one. I still don't to be honest with you. Why then am I suddenly gravitating towards these threads? I have 2 coming in the mail. That's right 2 and I have no idea what they are or what shape they are in. How can this be you say ? Well I bought a train load of vintage brushes (10) and in the lot there is these 2 razors (and a couple of other cool oddities). The seller was clueless about the whole lot so I guess I will see what the postman brings when they get here. I am wondering if I should buy some blades and give it a go when I am perfectly happy with my straights. This will only make 2 things happen that I can predict at this point. 1. I will love it and forget all my Ducks and give them away. 2. I will find yet another addiction which will require another line of credit. As I really don't see #1 as a possibility I am wondering if I should just gift the postman the razors when they get here. Or maybe smash them with a hammer so as not to get even remotely tempted by telling myself I could buy and sell these things to pay for the hobby/collection I have now. This has not worked out so far with the straights as many of you know all to well.

I guess by chance and maybe destiny it is time to see what this is all about. I am going to have to find out what I have bought and decide what to do when they are in my hands. Here are the best pics of the razors I have right now from the e-bay shots. I might as well start by asking what you guys can see. I guess the suspense is already starting to torture me.

First the lot shot. Kinda like where is Waldo ?

I don't even know if this is going to help but another clue/hint.
The top of one , the bottom of the other.

Well the first thing that comes to mind is clean them and sell them. There are a lot of people who like them.

I see two great Gillette's. Really if you do not want them, Christmas is just a few short months away and they wont bring a great price on the open market so why not give them as a Christmas present. Or, give them a try they should be nice soft shavers. I personally think this is a no loose situation.

The little one looks like a travel razor, I have a few of them,,,now you've got to get a sample pack of DE blades.

You got the fever......could you stop let alone give away ?

Yep and I say the same thing I used to tell guys that wanted to borrow my new bass boat.

"You can borrow my wife but forget I even have a boat."

I'll put you in my will, that's the best I can do for now. :<0)

I noticed it was smaller. Travel eh, does it require yet another size blade?

This is already distracting me from some serious sanding out in the shop. :<0) I know there is a "hands down" best blade to use. I will have to start that argument and see who wins :<0)
