Thread: My conclusion to DE shaving.

Hello everyone,

Just got done shaving with my DE (Wilkinson Sword Classic) with the same brand blade aswell. As being a beginner, I think I'm not ready for ATG with it yet, or even ATG. The reason for not going ATG is that my facial hair grows in multiple directions, so I'm eventually going to go ATG at some place on my face.

What I found out is that I have a face I guess only made for going WTG, I mean shaving with a DE doesn't necessairly mean you HAVE to do a three pass shave or even a two pass shave now does it? To be quite honest, my face is back to being prickly after 14-16 or so hours after doing ATG with my cart razor. I still don't have the angle quite right aswell, I still slighty get the "plucking" feel with going ATG on my neck, but that may be because I'm not doing enough pre shave prep, to get the hairs very soft, or still not getting the angle right, but I'm still going to practice lots. If anyone has anymore helpful tips and tricks, feel free to share with me.

P.S. My face looks like it has a light 5'oclock shadow just WTG, doesn't look bad at all.
