Default Gillette 7 O'Clock Green Super Stainless-"Rodney Dangerfield?"

I just finished another series of 4 shaves with the Russian Gillette 7 O’Clock Green Super Stainless blade. All four shaves were excellent: smooth, close, and nick free. I think the poor Russian Greenie is a much under appreciated blade. They tend to take a back seat head to head with the Russian Yellows and Indian Green Permasharps and Indian Blacks. They cost a few pennies more than the Yellows, about the same as the Indian Greens, and less than the Blacks . Still, at about $20/100 shipped, they are a very good blade. I keep some on hand...I enjoy a little variety as long as the quality is there.

    As always……YMMV.

I like these as well always give a smooth irritation free shave. I think all the 7 o'clock range work pretty well so much so that I've stocked up on all of them in case like other blades they at some stage disappear.

I just recently started using the Gillette 7 o'clock yellows. They're pretty nice.
What's your source for the Russian Greens? I might have to give them a try.
BTW, thanks for the Rodney Dangerfield reference. I loved that guy. If you say that these blades "get no respect" like Rodney Dangerfield, then I've got to try them.

Now I think I'll have to go watch Caddy Shack!

I love the Greens. I have a 300 count stash! Between that and my 300 count stash of Wilkinsons Swords (which I find to be similar in performance), and my 4 straight razors, I think it's safe to say I have a lifetime supply. And an unhealthy compulsion, hahaha.

Wow, I have a big stash of the same two brands. I don't know which one I like best.

Razors Direct carries bulk supplies of the Greens at a good price.
