My favourite safety razor is my Gillette Slim (3rd quarter of 1962). I use a Voskhod blade and the razor set at 8 and it is like being tickled by an angel! :)

Absolute favorite safety razor is a difficult call. But not to dodge the question entirely I'll say, New DE- Edwin Jagger DE89L with lined chrome extra long handle. Old DE- 1936 Gillette Aristocrat or New Type 1934 Long comb. Adjustable DE- My 1958 Fat Boy. Mid 50's Gillett super speed. My first vintage de score. But I like the longer handle of my Maggards better. Over all the Gillett shaves better.
