    Default Life's Small Pleasures

    Gentlemen,

We find life's big and small pleasures everywhere. This Wolfman stainless steel double edge razor set is one of the many small ones in my life. I thought I would share it with you. The stands are also Wolfman.

The razors are the WR1-SB on the left and the WR1-OC on the right, with the WRH2 handle on both.

These Wolfman stainless steel razors have impeccable fit and finish, machine made in Canada, and they are superb shavers. Aggressive? Of course. No, not as aggressive as the Muhle R41. Nothing is as aggressive as the R41; it's just a mean razor.

The Wolfman are a pleasure to use. They are well balanced, with a comfortable handle that has ideal knurling, and the shaves are as close as one can get. They are aggressive, yes, but at the same time silky.

Those are gorgeous. I'm sure the folks at ATT hate to see those beauties coming onto the wet-shaving scene.

Thanks, my friend. My photography does not do the razors justice. In person, they are dazzling. And what great shavers. Also, the Wolfman stands are impressive. They are simple and functional but handsome at the same time.

Just as long as they aren't crafted for the Wolfman or made by Wolfman Jack.

No, Spendur, only crafted by the Wolfman.
Good heavens, do you remember the dj Wolfman Jack? He was based in LA. I haven't thought about him for years?

Very nice looking razors and I love the fact that they offer multiple different handle choices...but my god they need to put a warning for sticker shock on the homepage...incredibly expensive, maybe some day eh?

Well, my polished stainless steel OC Wolfman DE head came today after a 6 month wait. It is as Obie described, impeccable fir and finish.

The standard blade gap offered is 0.64mm with an option for a 0.74mm gap. I told James the DE razors that I really liked included the 2013 Muhle R41, Fatip and vintage Gillette OCs. He recommended the 0.74 based on my likes so that is what I have got. I am glad I did.

I paired it with an Ikon Bulldog Stainless steel handle I already had. Took it for a test shave. The shave is very smooth and very close without being harsh in any way. Just lovely.
