Default Newest addition to the collection: OneBlade

Okay, so, I ordered this razor yesterday!
It arrived a couple hundred miles away today.
I paid for regular shipping and got it the next day.

So far, it looks and feels great in the hand.
The packaging is wonderful. Great leather box!
The stand fits into the handle and comes with purchase of the razor along with a ten pack of Feather blades as standard.
It's not as heavy as the Mongoose.
The blade locks in place very nice.

What intrigued me about the razor is the stainless steel along with the pivoting head.

I haven't shaved with it yet.
    Thats next

Looks interesting for sure - I recall seeing the advertisement about these, almost the same expense as the Mongoose SE.

Did you get a replacement blade subscription of you just going to check it out first, assuming they sent you a couple of blades to try??

Definitely let us know how the shave went....

You get a 10 pack of the blades with the purchase!
I found a site that sells 120 blades for $90. That's cheaper than the blade program. Almost $0.20 cheaper per blade.
But, yes I want to try it before I signed up.
I also, wanted to see how it performed up against my Mongoose. Which, right now is the closet shave I can get next to one of my straights. The Mongoose reigns supreme with me!

I will do a post shave description!

Excellent - yea, the Mongoose is hard to beat, for a non-straight shave, and the variety of blades that goes with it....

Looks like a great product though, has some swivel and contouring ability in it and that looks like it may make it a winner....will wait for your take on it - thanks!

Looks like a good product. Interesting to note, a straight shave in Italy is what got him hooked in the first place. Also a 30 day subscription is 30 blades. I imagine you would get a number of shaves from 1 feather blade.

Okay! So, I needed to get ready to take the lady of the house out.

    Preshave: Proraso
    Soap: Stirling Texas on Fire
Blade: Feather single edge that came with the razor
    Passes: 2
    Weepers: 0
    Irritation Free

This razor is really easy to use and find the right blade angle. Just drop your elbow down into a natural position.
The pivoting head really wasn't a factor, but maybe if I did ATG it would.
The first pass delivered a DFS.
    The second almost BBS!
The shape of the head does put a lot of the head to the face. Something the Mongoose doesn't do, nor the Wolfman.
    The shave was irritation free!

if you were transitioning from a cartridge razor into wet shaving this razor would make it really easy.
Already a wet shaver it delivers a great fun shave!

Glad I bought it and will recommend it!

Great review and glade you like it. It will be interesting to here how many shaves you get out of one blade. The manufacturer recommends changing every day but some guys say you can get at least 7 good shaves. Please let us know.

I'm not knocking your razor but when I start seeing pivoting heads and all that I start seeing a slippery slope to Gillette cartridge razors.
