Lets have a contest for fun and guess the price of the base model.
I'll go first and guess $500.
This sounds like the Rockwell T horror show. I'll stay with my REX.
Looking that I received $500+ for one of my original toggles, that would be a fairly good price for a better adjustable razor.
Since I know Eric the owner of Janus, I won't speculate.I want one!

Aesthetically I find the design looks bulky and cumbersome as compared to the vintage Toggle. That is just me though but does not take away one iota from the tremendous challenge doing a project like this entails. Kudos are in order for having actually done so.
As to price, I'd agree that $500.00 and likely more is not unreasonable considering what goes into a project like this. Personally, I'll be staying with my vintage toggle considering the price I paid for it. Had I not got such a good deal on a vintage one, I just might be tempted.
