I'm a little late chiming in, but as 1OldGI states, it's a 1965 "Slim" Adjustable. The number 2 in the date code means it came off the assembly line in the second quarter of that year. And according to this extensive chart (thank you Badger and Blade), the "Fat Boy" Adjustable was only manufactured from 1958-1961.

A Safety Straight......seen lots of 'em....

'65 was a great year. Away at college. 1st love(Nancy(:-)). It was a great time. Wish I remembered it!

I guess the next question is, Glen, will you try to use it???
-
Oh I tried it pretty much the day after I got it, went fine except the exact reverse of what we normally read on here, I had to finish up with a Straight Razor :rofl2:

That is too funny, I also picked up a Gillette slim 1962 model 2 weeks ago, tried shaving with it a couple of times and meh, not impressed with the shave quality. Went back to the straight. I'll probably keep it around for emergencies...

The Gillette adjustables are pretty mild if you're used to shaving with a straight. The best DE for being aggressive is the Futur. It's got more blade exposure on the lowest setting than the Gillette has on #8.
