Edwin Jagger DE89 is recommended by many; it was my first.

Thanks everyone after reading reviews on the Edwin Jagger DE 89 I think this is the one Im going with. Then I would like to try straight razor shaving?

Yep, the DE89 is a nice razor - to start with, or to stay with. Used properly, it's an really good shaver. Make sure you get a DE blade sampler, and try many different blade brands. You need to find a blade that will work for you. Several online vendors offer samplers.
