Default First Shave with Merkur Futur

My first shave with the Futur was fantastic. I used a Wilkinson blade on a setting of 2 till I get to use to this razor this an aggressive setting second pass used a setting of 1. Overall I like this razor a little tough to shave under the nose but I managed to get it done with no incidents. Just gonna take my time.

I loved my Futur. Lost it to my son! Don't miss it much with my artist feather club. Enjoy! Double O

Don't worry, you'll be shaving like a champ in no time. Mine pretty much stays set at 5.5, great razor. Just pull up on your nose to get that pass under it

Just completed a shave with Feather blade and got a DFS. I was scared of these blades when I used them with my EJDE89 a couple of months ago because I was using too much pressure I just might be hooked on these blades. Are there anymore blades that compare to the Feathers?

My personal favorite with the Futur was the "red persona" also "Astra" felt sharp and smooth. If I remember correctly I used "Dorco" consider by most bottom of the line blades and they gave a decent one pass shave, just don't go against the grain if you have a course beard, if I remember correctly! Enjoy the Futur! Double O

I've found the Gillette 7 o clock yellow to be very close to the feathers in sharpness.
