    Default most "maneuverable" DE

I've been shaving with a Merkur 39C slant. I have no problem with the aggressiveness. In fact, if there were something that shaved closer, I'd try it. I use Feather blades.
My problem is in the "detail" areas. Under my nose and under my lip are the hardest to deal with. The big head of the 39C makes "detailing" these areas tough. I'm coming from using Bic Metals, so my tolerance for lightweight maneuverability may be unfairly skewed.

Here's my question; what is the most maneuverable, aggressive DE safety razor?

    Any thoughts??
    Thanks in advance.

You'd have to go vintage but a Schick SE is more maneuverable than a DE. Other than that I would say an early Gillette Super Speed TTO or maybe one of the even earlier Gillette 3 piece razors. There are probably more, and maybe better choices, but I'm not that familiar with the current crop of DE choices.

My vote would be for either an Injector or an old Gillette three piece open comb.

Thanks guys. Those injectors are sweet. I am entirely unfamiliar with the vintage market. For a number of reasons I have to stay with DE. Well, for about 400 reasons as I bought a truck load of DE Feather blades...

Are there any DEs, modern or vintage, that shave aggressively and are streamlined?

The muhle R41 is definitely one of the mot agressive razors out there and is quite smaller than the 39c. The R41 shouldn't get in the way nearly as much. I haven't tried it with a feather yet though.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

Gillette old type FTW! Nice small maneuverable head and plenty aggressive. The only downside is you have to position the blade just right before tightening the head. They can be found really cheap too. I have a few floating around. Send me a PM if you're interested in one. I have too many razors.

I throw multiple votes for the Muhle R41. Pretty aggressive yet compact and maneuverable. And it doesn't break the bank. Having said that, the R41 paired with a Feather? ewwwwww..... A bit too aggressive for me. I would want to palm or cork the Feather first.

An alternative to the R41? A Gen II iKon Open Comb? Or a Joris?

If you want really aggressive and maneuverable the R-41 is the one to get. It's light and well balanced with a small head and can get into the tightest areas. I use mine with feather blades. You have to be very careful with it but the result is...sublime.

    Gillette 3 piece, any variety.

Also, the Injector is amazing. Handles like a modern razor, but shaves like an SE. I highly recommend it.
