New kit arrives
Hi Gent,
My new CJB Razor arrived today, and My Merkur Futur late last week. The Merkur has given a fine BBS shave over the last few days I really like it. But tonight I will try out the CJB straight handle and report back later. Any thoughts on blades for the CJB would be welcome.Hirlau likes this.

Where did you pick up the CJB cant really find them anywhere?

From a guy on a U.K forum who orders in bulk, takes about a week or so to arrive.

Well I have completed the first shave with the CJB Straight Razor, and I am very pleased with the result. Bear in mind I am not a SR shaver, so I went WTG and XTG and finished with the Merkur ATG. The bits I could do well were the cheeks which came out BBS+\+ and the throat which I found quite easy. So all in all very pleased and on the road to getting my first proper SR. This razor seems much easier to use than the first shavette I purchased which was very cheap and used half a DE blade and cost me a lot of blood, just a couple of minor niks with the CJB, SO A HAPPY BOY.
