Default Anyone tried a BOG Razor?

Hey there forum, long time no post! Hope everyone is doing well.

I started getting adverts from a vendor selling razors under the name of "BOG" I am sure many of you have received the
same emails but I have seen no mention of them in the forums - that i can find. Has anyone tried any of their razors?
I am specifically interested in opinions regarding their shavette but comments regarding any of their razors will be equally appreciated.

    TIA

    Gil

Thanks Glen. I checked and didnt see any references to them. BOG; black ops grooming, appears to be a new company although
i have not kept up with the market in some time. Anyway i was hoping someone could give me a thumbs up/down on their shavette.

    Cheers

I personally recommend a BOG Oak scaled (outback!) Henckels 17 Friodur.
    Black Ops, indeed!

Glenn is right, they appear to be part of the whole Blades Grim/Grim Blades/TGN dog and pony show. Real mall ninja looking stuff. Tactical shaving, they call it... [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

The model is one of the typical cheap shavettes offered in the Bay for a few bucks. The shavettes there are in stainless. So the Seller has started a line of them with a tactical finish and charges you $ 30 bucks.

I've used a $10 Sanguine, which has the same bladeholder, and was happy with it. You don't wear any coating off a stainless shavette though. How many bladechanges will the black coating last? Besides that, you will get a proven Shavettemodel and will get good shaves with it.

Concerning the St8 you must know where the steel and razor are made. If its cheap steel from Pakistan or China you better stay away.
