Feather Artist Club Razor CLONE
Aloha!
I recently received my Feather Artist Club CLONE razor. Only $15 deliverd from China via Aliexpress, so it is much less expensive than the iconic genuine Feather Artist Club razor. I've been shaving with a genuine Feather Artist Club razor for a while and wanted to try these clones. I thought they may be good for travel, and/or my 2nd home where I'm also building a respectable shaving den.

First impression, the razor is very well made. It has excellent balance and good feedback for a Shavette. Most importantly, it holds genuine Feather Artist Club blades firmly and securely. That's the most important thing. I have been using Shavettes for just about as long as I have been using Straight Razors. A long time. I usually cut myself at least once per shave with a standard Shavette. I just can't get the hang of it VS a Straight, where I rarely cut myself. The Feather ProGuard Blades for the line of Artist Club are a very different story. Those ridges thy built into the ProGuard really work for me. I rarely if ever cut myself with the ProGuard blades. It puts the Feather Artist Club Shavette on par with my Straight razors. For my shaving style anyway.
No complaints on this Feather Artist Club Clone. For only 17 percent of the cost of a genuine Feather razor, this is a good value. I have no affiliation with the company. Just posting an honest review.

Mahalo!
Sapphoo KureNai G1105 Black
For sure It's a good shaver, on the cheap side about the handle.

Sapphoo KureNai G1105 Black vs Kasho Kai Captain R7 Pakka Special Edition
Thanks to a friend, I tested the Sapphoo KureNai G1105 Black.

Except for a few details, it's almost the clone of the Kasho Kai Captain R7.
The body of the razor is the same size.
The weight is slightly different, as is the color.
But close enough, although I prefer the Titanium color of the original.
However, the steel-colored satin finish of the KureNai is also beautiful.
Some difference is in the handle.
Both weight, shape, length, and balance.
The resin is similar to the original, but less dense.
Welds at the spacer and center "pin" are also less graceful.
Like the quality of screws and washers that connect the body.
But even here, in practice it is not noticeable.
The only important difference I found was in the locking mechanism.
The original spring is definitely more performing, given the size and arching.
The resulting movement is also simpler and with greater excursion.
This helps to have a better grip on the blade in the Captain.
Also because the machining accuracy of the armor is different.
In the photo it's noted that in the KureNai in the center it is not accurate.
But even here, in shaving it is almost not noticeable.
More in the disassembly for cleaning.
But not too much.
In comparison to the classic R7, this G1105 performs well.
The difference in value is much lower than the price difference.
Which becomes embarrassing compared to special editions.
Among the various models available, I believe that the KureNai G0420 is the most balanced.
Of this I prefer the shape of the handle and the fact that it is made of wood.
Beyond that of the body, more sinuous and similar to Feather.
