It's Friday night, SWMBO is out of town visiting a sick relative. So, did I go drinking with the boys? Nah! Did I start a John Wayne movie marathon? No! I grabbed my razor and tried out a new technique.

First, I discovered I can finally lather just plain shaving soap without having to make uberlather!I also only lathered a small area of my face for the experiment.

The experiment was trying to do the scything motion. I've read about it and saw one video about it, so I didnt have much to go on. The motion I used, (I'm not really sure it was scything) was like a windshield wiper. Whatever name someone puts on it: IT WORKED! Very close comfortable shave and most importantly, NO BLOOD!

I also found that its easier to lather one area at a time versus lathering my whole face. I feel like I can focus alot better, and I can stretch my skin much easier.
