Chicks Digg It!

Well, it's seems official. I have my first scar from shaving. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what is now being called "The Bloodletting", here is a link to the thread.

It has been two week since the afore mentioned act of self mutilation, and all the wounds have healed up nicely. But the gouge I made in my left cheek has left me with something to remember it by. It doesn't hinder shaving, and it is barely noticeable.
But, I can definitely feel it when I run my fingers over my cheek. Oh well, as Lou so eloquently put it,"Chicks dig scars", though I may neglect to tell the actual tale. "I WAS FIGHTING A DRAGON!"

I tried using "rough sex" as a story for mine, but the wife was not amused, so now I use "dueling scar" also. Sometimes with a flourish of my epee for dramatic effect.

Yeah, I always go with....

"I got that one on the last trip into the burning orphanage...but it was worth it....we got 'em all out."

(..she doesn't need to know that the orphanage had been closed for 6 years, you were the night security guard specifically hired to prevent arson and you'd left your 6-pack in the refrigerator!)

I just tell em I used to be a pirate and got the scars while boarding another ship in the heat of battle. arrgh me hearties.

I'm yet to get my first proper wound. Not saying that it wont happen either!!!

Likening your wounds to something that resembles being slashed in the face with a damn SWORD isn't helping either guys!!

You could say that you got it when you slipped while shaving Britany Spears head and she bitch slapped you with her umbrella.

I have a pretty big scar on my chin. I usually tell people it was from a rock climbing accident, but I saved two other people from falling. It sounds much better than I was riding my bicycle while drunk, and wrecked on the speed-bump right in front of my house. :tu :w :roflmao

Yeah, that rock can mess you up haha. Sandstone will mess you up man.
Of course, so will biking under the influence. :D

hehehe, i also have a scar on my chin from a reckless drinking incident, i pushed over a for sale sign and fell flat on my face inflicting a dirty wound to my chin. I got what i deserved on that one! But the chicks dig it, Of course i tell them they should see the other guy.

So.... if I carve a bunch of Nordic Runes and whatnot in my face with one of my razors, I'll be irresistable to the wimmin-types? :p

FWIW - the best answer is:

"You don't wanna know" with a slight smile, looking them straight in the eyes, and if they insist be humble and don't say anything more, just change the topic. Guaranteed to make their knees weak

this plays with whatever exciting fantasy they might have (you might have saved babies from a burning house, fought a biker gang, boarded a ship, protected the honor of a virgin, whatever) very tantalizing, leaves an air of mystery and the best part is you don't have to work for it and / or appear full of yourself

Normally the woman guessed correctly on the first guess. You were drunk and fell down. So they will probably think that the shaving scar was because you were drunk and fell down as well and no matter how hard you try to convince her, she won't believe it was from shaving.
