Well, it's seems official. I have my first scar from shaving. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what is now being called "The Bloodletting", here is a link to the thread.

It has been two week since the afore mentioned act of self mutilation, and all the wounds have healed up nicely. But the gouge I made in my left cheek has left me with something to remember it by. It doesn't hinder shaving, and it is barely noticeable.
But, I can definitely feel it when I run my fingers over my cheek. Oh well, as Lou so eloquently put it,"Chicks dig scars", though I may neglect to tell the actual tale. "I WAS FIGHTING A DRAGON!"

I always use "Dueling scar" as a story for my scar.

I tried using "rough sex" as a story for mine, but the wife was not amused, so now I use "dueling scar" also. Sometimes with a flourish of my epee for dramatic effect.

Yeah, I always go with....

"I got that one on the last trip into the burning orphanage...but it was worth it....we got 'em all out."

(..she doesn't need to know that the orphanage had been closed for 6 years, you were the night security guard specifically hired to prevent arson and you'd left your 6-pack in the refrigerator!)

I just tell em I used to be a pirate and got the scars while boarding another ship in the heat of battle. arrgh me hearties.

I'm yet to get my first proper wound. Not saying that it wont happen either!!!

Likening your wounds to something that resembles being slashed in the face with a damn SWORD isn't helping either guys!!
