Just thought I'd post this.

Just had one of the best shaves I've done. 4 passes and the razor was like a hot knife!

Bismarck 5/8 vintage, 1K/6K/trans arkie/crox/oiled leather.
Ted baker 02 shaving cream
Omega boar brush
Witch hazel
Nivea sensitive ASB.

This is the first shave I've done off this razor, I've had it a few weeks and I had to partially bread knife it to correct a smile caused by a worn toe.

The water was boiling hot, and the lather a little looser than I normally whip up. The razor seemed to love it. I had a DFS from the first pass, The WTG pass had 0 resistance, the ATG pass also had 0 resistance and by this point the razor wasn't even making a noise! At no point did the razor attempt to dig catch or even slow down!

I'm about 8 months into shaving with straights, today however I think I have crossed a threshold from been able to shave to been able to shave well and truly appreciate the end result.

While I normally have a good shave with BSS after, today it just felt like the end result was professional.

I'm very happy
