Yes...it looks like it's a "common" or, "middle" grind going by your diagram....man this is driving me nuts!

Here is something that i think is essentially a half rattler
http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...e-razor-4.html
Its actually the same type of razor that made me want to find out what the grind is like, all i could remember was that it sounded medical.
OK based on those sketches, I have to ask what is the difference between a rattler and a faux frame back?
I am not 100% sure, but i think a faux frameback has a very thin one piece blade and tang, that has a seperate stiffener across the top of the blade to create a spine (well mine is like this anyway), whereas a frameback has a one piece tang and spine that a seperate blade is inserted into.
I have been secretly amassing a Sheffield collection so as not to tarnish my Elmer Fud image :<0)

That's a lot of beautiful blades obviously treated with a great deal of care and respect.
Very nice 10Pups...you ever going to show some of them in any of the Sheffield razor sub-forums? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would really enjoy seeing some of those blades.
Thanks!
Well I am working on another secret Phrank and there will be plenty of pics :<0)
And not to get too far off topic as I don't want to upsset Ed :<0) that particular grind we were talking about is in that bunch.
