Default half rattler - what are they comparable to?

I was wondering what a half rattler was like to shave with, are they similar to a hollow or frameback, or are they more akin to a wedge?
Sorry if this is silly quesion. i imagine it would be more like a hollow but with some extra weight and stiffness, but obviously thats just a guess, so i was hoping anyone who has used one could shed some light.
    Thank you

Hi Ed...happened to have been looking at that myself the other day and stumbled on this old thread from 2011, post #33 has this pic. Here's the thread:

And here's a pic mentioned in the thread...looks like others I was looking at:

And they are great to shave with, I find them very similar to shaving with a frameback, great closeness, highly maneuverable, and IMO, I've had some of my best shaves with them....nothing bad to say about them....I have two rattler grinds...one very similar to the pic...also called or similar to a "concave" grind I've read somewhere.

I have no idea what they shave like yet. I just got one in the Wostenholm flavor. It just under 5/8 and looks like somebody TRIED to hone it :<0( Hope I can save it.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

At last, i thought my thread was being shunned
Yes i can see a rattler would be like a frameback, a half rattler is rattler ground from about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through the blade ie its like a wedge until the bottom of the tang antd then it is rattlerised

I like my frameback (or faux frameback) so i assume i would like the shave from a full rattler, however aesthetically i like the half rattler grind.

Sorry that wasnt supposed to sound rude if it did

    Ed-

How about a picture of a 1/2 rattler?
