Well the design is progressing, i have pulled the smile back a bit, well 1/8" actually after a chat where i was told that blade maintenance on smiling blades gets trickier the smilier they are, so now the smile is 1/8", or pretty much where i started, i like the look of the big smile, but if its going to be a mare to maintain then i am happy to compromise.
It also means:
The scales dont need to be as chunky.
I don't have to have such a radical angle on the spine to facilitate the non chunky scales.

Hi Ed - love the blade design, can see you've pretty much got it down...looks good and hefty...have you tried, as best you can, to make sure with the tang you'll have a comfortable grip no matter which type of pass you do?

Swedish Razor w/ Decorated Tang/Tail in Razors.......I will follow this creative thread......because someone taking nothing (well, steel) and ending up with a razor is still a fascinating process no matter how many times I read about it or see videos, plus: how can you not be taken up with something called a half rattler? Good on ya Ed.
