yep, I'm on my second Toyota Prius;)
Still, I prefer bigger blades.
They seem to fit my hands and face best.
Granted, being six feet five inches might have a little something to do with my preferences.

5'9" ......... how's the weather up there guys ?
I just like the way they shave...the weight, the balance, pretty much everything about them. Of course...I have a goatee so the lip and chin are not an issue for me!
I love 'em!

I prefer big blades and have blades from 6//8 13/16 15/16 and 8/8 and find my two 14s to be the most comfortable shavers and they feel so right and perfectly balanced.
With all apologies to Phrank, my friend and Deacon, every time I try to buy anything 7/8 or larger so I can find out what all the tsimmes is about big blades they are quickly snapped up by the flock of Phranks with snipping programs. Have pity on us lesser human beings.
I can see the appeal of a larger blade with the weight adding a factor of ease - the weight controlling the stroke. I shave with everything from a 3/8 (for precise goatee trimming for special occasions) to 6/8 and whatever grind it happens to be. What I am getting to like more and more is the length of the blade. Shaved with my Shumate safety straight this morning, blade length under 3 inches. Was able to get around my face like a speedster. Would love to try a short length 8/8, any grind to see if I can quit wanting or have to redouble my efforts to acquire a big boy.
The size and weight of the blade cuts easier. When I was a beginner, the large blades helped make up for my lack of skill because of the sheer force behind them. I'm not saying that everyone who prefers the larger blades lacks skill, but that was the reason why I preferred the larger ones when I started.
Now that I have a few years experience, I prefer the smaller ones.
