Thread: When the last time you cut yourself?

Been doing this about 3 months, and this morning I was thinking, gee, I haven't cut myself or bled it about a month and hal...OUCH. Sigh.

For the senior members, once you got it, how long has it been since you drew blood?

This noob is still only managing 2 weeks best. (Though usually they're very minor... 'abrasions' as Lynn says in his YouTube video!)

Slightly , but I have on a few occasions cut myself without blood. Sometimes I catch myself just as the blade makes a very slight cut (you get that initial sting) and I reach straight for the styptic (which is always close by!) before there's time to bleed, press it on for a few seconds, and hey presto! No blood. But the nick is just about detectable at the end of the shave, almost like a little red patch of razor burn with an almost imperceptible white line (of cut skin, I guess).

Anyone else sometimes get these non-bleeding cuts?

Yesterday, damn it. Felt that telling sting and knew I'd made a boo boo... Eventually, I'll get the hang of this.

Weepers and minor nicks aside that disappear before the shave is through ... I think it would be a few months ago.

I gave myself a mid-sized nick a couple of days ago. I don't even know how it happened -- maybe a facial twitch or something. 2 shaves before that I gave myself a small one due to the unfamiliarity with shaving sticks but before that... It's been about 4 months.

I'd guess a month or so. I gave myself a small red vertical nick on my chin.
