Another great video in you collection
I like the down hand technique you first use, is it the normal way you would shave others or jus because your were working from that side for the video?
Great work once again
I would recommend the cheek down approach for anyone :)
Less irritation. Happy shaving!
Have never known a woman that needed to shave her face???
Lots of women shave, not many women talk about it :)
Good job. Random thoughts:
I think you should shave a man. You'll note that the skin stretching that you are doing in this vid is really mild compared to what you can get with some aggressive stretch. Maybe not necesary with fine haired face, but maybe with aggressive, course hair(think leg hair and man face), it makes a huge difference.
A WTG or what some more loosely call a north-south pass is consistently that throughout. North to South. It's probably difficult to "map" a womans facial hair unless she has some sort of stubble.
The round point razor. Excellent choice.
You have something to be proud of. You did well! :)
Kind Regards and in no specific order or importance,
Simon
You don't know Marilyn & Elizabeth ???

I shaved my face the other day for no other reason other than that I was bored. I have absolutely no visible facial hair, but I'd already shaved my legs, my underarms, and cleaned up "down there." So I figured since I still had all this lovely soap lathered up, & get such great exfoliation on my legs, I'd have a go at trying to shave my face.
Awesome idea. My skin is usually pretty good anyway, but it was so smooth after shaving, I'm planning on making it a regular part of my skin regimen, maybe once a week. It also went really well, no nicks, just took it nice and slow, re-lathered when I thought it would help.
All this was before I saw this thread, so I'm off to youtube. I always learn so much from those videos.
It does feel great, doesn't it? I sometimes shave on my "off" day, when I don't need it for appearances, just to get that feel. Glad it was a success!
I have shaved several women's faces, and it was always a pleasurable experience for them. LM
i thought they mostly bleached? Someone told me they waxed
No judgement intended...just trying to help. That said, ladies...please don't shave your face. Wax, tweeze, laser, bleach...anything but shave. Please.
Craniac, you don't give a reason. Why not?
(I'm not a Mod, but I am concerned that some of the strong reactions on this thread can have a shaming effect on women posters or readers. Let's remember that in the Ladies Corner, we men are guests. Also, while we're used to being experts on our topic here at SRP, in this Corner we may be the novices.)
I'm sorry. I certainly didn't mean to offend. Regarding the question of whether or not it's "my business", of course you're correct. How someone chooses to groom themselves is entirely up to them. That said, I wouldn't take offense if a woman suggested that men should shower regularly, and I can't imagine anyone else would either. If a woman I was dating told me that she'd really prefer it if my back didn't resemble a mohair sweater, I might be inclined to do something about it. People offer grooming tips all the time...especially when it comes to matters of the opposite sex. I just offered mine, that's all. Apologies once again for offending you.
indeed you may do something about your back hair as i do with hair on my shoulders, but the method used to achieve it is entirely up to the person surely. i dont really understand your objection to women shaving their face if you dont object to them removing the hair in the first place.
in fact why dont you try tweezing or waxing your beard and see how you go.

My 2nd wife....I never made any suggestions regarding hair, facial or otherwise.
As you can see by my avatar I have my own issues with hair although I prefer to keep the center of my face smooth.
I have a friend who is in the business of doing facials for both men and women. She does not do men's shaves that would be considered a Barbers type shave, but she has shaved women I believe. She tells me that women's facial hair does not grow back like men's and apparently it can be considered as par for the course considering the type of facial being done. I know absolutely nothing about any of this, but found it interesting. In my opinion, it seems it would be totally up to the woman to decide what, when or how they want to shave and unless I am asked personally and then I would have to think about it before saying anything. My wife has had this done and liked the smooth feeling of her face after. I couldn't tell she had it done and still can't.
"What is dermabrasion?
Dermabrasion and dermaplaning help to "refinish" the skin's top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping. The treatments soften the sharp edges of surface irregularities, giving the skin a smoother appearance."
Sounds very similar to shaving.....I'm with don't ask don't tell on this one.
I've been trying to talk my girlfriend into allowing me to shave her face. She's intrigued, but also thinks it's taboo. According to her women aren't supposed to shave their face. She's also concerned that the delicate peach-fuzz that graces her skin will grow back 'Grizzly Adams' style. While I wouldn't recommend face shaving to my lady on a regular basis, certainly the benefits of straight shaving would avail her on occasion. This vid may swing the vote in my favour. Time to lather up honey!!!
Ok babe! Let's go for it :) I'm ready to be shaved! Ladies and gents, I was extremely hesitant while simultaneously very curious but have now decided to give it a go and let my man shave my face. I shall post my thoughts and comments afterwards! Happy Shaving everyone :)
I've been watching some of the shock regarding the topic and have to tell you that face shaving has loooong been considered an beauty treatment. Just look at all the DuckDuckGo results:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=face+shavi...nt&t=canonical
And, from what I understand, it does *not* encourage or lead to heavier growth(at least on women).
In many cultures it has been done a very long time.
And in China, some people think it is a good idea to shave eyeballs!
Alright ladies and gents! Results are in! My man shaved my face and all I can say is that it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I felt as though I was at the spa, was fully relaxed (I trust his shaving skills blindly!), and I absolutely enjoyed being pampered. Now the incredible thing is how my skin felt and looked afterwards. Truly a difference. My skin felt baby smooth and was the healthiest it has looked in a very long time. It felt like my skin could finally "breathe". Days later my skin still seems to be brighter and smoother than before. Some tiny little hairs have slowly grown back in, but they have grown out very naturally (not thicker) and I would have to say I am surprised at how long it's taken for those little hairs to appear. I am now a keen supporter of the face shave! For those of you who are interested in more details as to what products and techniques my man used- just let me know. I'd be happy to help! Ladies- don't be afraid, give it a go (with someone you truly trust!)
Here's a shout out to my man who pampered me and worked so carefully and patiently- I am a lucky gal!
Well this is one of the most interesting threads I have read in a long time. :) I have to say that's the first time I saw a woman's face being shaved.
