How much time for a straight razor shave?
I like to do a 3 pass shave (WTG, XTG, ATG) and from start to finish it takes me around 30-35 minutes (all enjoyable ones)
I was wondering how long it took others to complete their shaving ritual?

I'm getting two passes (W/XTG & ATG) done in about 20 minutes from prep to clean up.
That's about half the time it was twenty months half ago.

About a half hour consistent for me with a shower, but I only do two passes, then a quick touch up here and there.

If I'm showering first, about 15 minutes to do a 2-pass since I don't have to absorb all the prep time. I can soak the brush while I shower, don't necessarily use pre-shave, strop while the shower is warming up, etc.
If I'm not showering I usually go all out (hot towels, preshave, etc.) so probably closer to 30 minutes for the same 2-pass.

Oh a good half-day -- I like to take my time --bubble bath, champagne, cigar , and foot massage by two buxom-beauties. Oh you mean in real life? --- about 20-30 minutes --but still try to work those buxom-beauties in there if I can

Took 45 minutes the first time. About 20-25 for a really good close shave. 15 minutes for a good shave. 10 minutes for a Saturday Shave. But, a great shave is worth the time.

Thanked: 0After getting out of the shower: pre-shave prep; 2 passes (1st is a combination WTG/XTG; 2nd is ATG) plus a water-only touch-up (not a full pass); post-shave cleanup and putting away the gear when I'm done: approximately 25 minutes.
