Yeah, I'd watch anything that's copyright-able if I were you. However, promoting the site and our community is a great thing. I generally just write the address down for them and give them my number.
The other thing you can do is start a little club - whack up a notice on the community noticeboard, meet once a month, say, help them with gear and advice and so on. Meet somewhere neutral (not at your house) that allows razors etc until you get to know them better - our sport can attract the weirdos on occasion.
James.
My brother was technically a straight shaver before I was. He tried it a few times but elected to get his shaves at Truefitt and Hill when they had a shop in Chicago. I can only assume that he had all of the same trouble that all newcomers experience. I doubt his razor was shave ready, I don't know if he owns a strop, and I don't know if he knows how to use any of it. I offered to hone his razor if he wanted to give it another go but he doesn't show any interest. So I don't bring it up any longer but for once a year when I give him another soap to use. He may not be interested in a SR but he doesn't mind lathering up with something good.

What? Weirdos? On Occasion? You mean guys who like to whittle the hair off of their faces with a naked open blade, the sharper the better, and who have nothing better to do than sit around on the computer all day talking about it? Say it ain't so!
I had that experience in a Hoffritz store outside of Washington DC in about 1980. Bought a 5/8 and a strop (which I quickly sliced up). I was already wet shaving, but didn't work at lathering as much using a Trac II as I needed to with a SR. Shaved (kinda) maybe 8 times, then put it away until 2 years ago when I found it in my gun safe, and then checked the internet for videos. Here I am today, using it and many others every day. What a shame.
At this time I have nothing out there, health issues have slown me down bigtime:(
