I have no experience with bobsrazors. I would go with the classifieds, Straight razor designs or classic edge for a shave ready razor.

I would recommend looking at a variety of shave videos. Different strokes for different folks, there might be a guy that does it in a goofy fashion that will help you out. That and just make faces in the mirror while doing a "dry run" with the DE w/o a blade in it. So you can either find something that is a little more comfortable or make it more comfortable.

    Best of luck!

One of the things I always recommend for new guys when taking on the chin is to find a tennis ball or baseball and practice shaving around the ball without actually touching it. Pay attention to how you hold the razor as you move around the ball. This is pretty close to the movement you will use to shave the rounded part of your chin. The dry run approach mentioned above it good too. Under the lower lip and on the sides of the chin are pretty straight forward as then are simple down strokes. The other comments already made with regard to stretching and light pressure are important too.

    Have fun.
