I've gotten my technique down to were I can get BBS w/o razor bumps as long as I give my neck a day to recover between shaves but every other day isn't enough to feed my addiction so I've decided to do the once over shave during the week and maybe a really close 2 passes on the weekend.
For a close, even, once over shave, the barbering text in the SRP library recommends a stroke with the grain and a quick follow-up stroke across (the chevron type motion that was mentioned in one of the older threads). I can do the chevron motion on the face and jawline but I was wondering how this would be accomplished on this on the neck since across the grain on the neck is actually going up vertically. Could anybody help clarify this?
