First decent lathered shave

I got myself a bristle shaving brush the other day and gave it a try using just the soap and my face, didn't get too far on the lathering front, then today I used a cup from the cupboard as an actual lathering bowl and got a decent amount built up. Shave went well, much better than with canned stuff, though I'm still using a cartridge (waiting to get a Straight from Scott). I'm not using a shaving soap its actually a honey and macadamia oil soap from my girlfriends moms store, it lathers up well but definately doesn't hold, I think i will be getting some real stuff in a bit.
All in all, I can't wait to start with a straight...
